The Citizen CBD Story

When Grant Carstensen, founder of Citizen Ventures, returned from Iraq and ended his 10 years of active duty service in the United States Marine Corps, he was quickly diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

As he began to adapt to life back at home, he witnessed fellow service members going through the same treatments after returning from combat. After experiencing the benefits of therapeutic medicine within his own treatment, Grant was compelled to share that same experience with his fellow veterans.

This desire led Grant to start Citizen as a way of supporting the brave men and women returning home from combat. Citizen CBD, his first venture, creates and distributes hemp-based products with a central mission to use every product sale to benefit veterans in need.
