CBDistillery Product Types
Full Spectrum CBDistillery Products
These products are created from hemp that has the full plant extracted via CO2. Often referred to as whole plant extracts, these products contain the complete spectrum of naturally occurring cannabinoids (including <0.3% THC) along with the plant terpenes, flavonoids, plant proteins, vitamins and minerals from the original hemp plant source. When the full spectrum of compounds work together they synergistically magnify and multiply the results and potential health benefits, something commonly referred to as the Entourage Effect. Major and minor cannabinoids include CBG (Cannabigerol ), CBGa (Cannabigerolic Acid ), THCv (Tetrahydrocanabivarinic), CBN (Cannabinol), CBC (Cannabichromene), CBDa (Cannabidiolic Acid), THCa (Tetrahydrocannabinolic Acid), Δ8–THC (Δ8-tetrahydrocannabinol).
Broad Spectrum CBDistillery Products
These products are created in a similar way as Full Spectrum but it is then further processed to remove and remediate the presence of any trace amounts of THC. This allows the natural terpenes, flavonoids, proteins, vitamins and minerals of the plants to remain in Broad Spectrum products compounding for the Entourage Effect along with the full array of major and minor cannabinoids.
CBD Isolate Products
CBD Isolate is created when CBD is isolated as an individual compound and all other molecules from the Full Spectrum extract are removed with ethanol extraction. This leaves pure CBD in an anhydrous state where the remains are a white powder with at least 99% purity and absolutely 0% THC. The powder is utilized as a formulation to add CBD or as the base of CBD products including THC Free CBD Tinctures, oils, edibles, topicals and eliquid vape products. After the initial extraction process, the full-spectrum phythocannabinoids rich oil is heated to activate the cannabinoids, a process known as decarboxylation. A final winterization process removes the plants fatty acids, additional cannabinoids, terpenes, and other plant components. After these steps of processing, all that remains of the original hemp extract is a crystalline CBD powder.

CBG (Cannabigerol) is a minor cannabinoid known as the “stem cell of the hemp plant.” It is generally found in levels of <1% in most strains of hemp.
